Families
mini-session

Here are some helpful tips to prepare you and the family and what to expect:
"Just so you know, we're all camera shy!" This is the most common concern, you aren't alone. I am always thinking how I can make you feel comfortable and easy throughout your shoot.
"Just so you know, our kids can go crazy or our kids can be really shy"
I have kids too, I am very used to things taking a crazy turn when we least expect it. I also completely understand that kids can be shy and so I always try to make things light and easy and fun.
What to bring:
If you'd like to bring your favourite picnic rug to sit on please do so. Feel free to let young kids bring a favourite teddy or anything that may keep them happy and entertained.
What to wear:
● Take everything out of your pockets - Keys, Phone, lip balm everything.
● Remove hair ties from your wrist.
● We want candid photos for most of the time, try not to look at me (the photographer) unless I say “and look over at me”. Then we will capture some facing the camera.
● Ideally all wear clothes that are plain without patterns or logos or obvious branding. Denim, Shorts, Skirts, Dresses, White, Cream, Beige at the beach really work well, but just wear what feels right for you. Avoid black if you can when at the beach.
● Footwear, wear something appropriate for your location. Easy to slip on and off or just come barefoot.
Having natural makeup and hair can make you feel more confident in front of the camera, however it is not required for the photoshoot.
Time Slot:
Please arrive on time as you have a 20 min time slot and we would love to get as many photos as we can in this time. Please text me if you are running late as I may be able to accommodate you in a different time slot that day or possibly reschedule to another day. My number is 021 468 799
Looking forward to seeing you!!
