Family Session - in Nature

Let's escape into nature and find the perfect backdrop for your family. Depending on the size of your family, we can meet in a private garden, at the beach or local reserve for your photoshoot session. If your group is little, we can also take a quick stroll to be both savvy AND a little creative!
- Let me know if you have members of the family that aren't able to move about so easily so that I can plan some suitable locations.

What happens in a Family Photoshoot?
I'll be working with you, to capture beautiful memories for you and your family and bring to life any ideas you have for the shoot.
Depending on the size of your group, i'll suggest different positions, combinations of people and ways of interacting with one another to ensure we capture some classic, creative and nostalgic moments that you will keep close to your heart for years to come.
What should we wear?
I will suggest that you choose a neutral palette for your photoshoot. Avoiding obvious patterns, logos and branding on your clothing. I provide you with a more specific guide to "what to wear" when you have booked your date.
How long does a typical family photo session last?
The duration of a photo session varies depending on the type and scope of the shoot. Family sessions are typically 30 minutes. It's important to capture all the classic moments and ensure you feel relaxed and comfortable throughout the session.
Can we choose the location?
Absolutely, I believe that the location plays a significant role in capturing unique and personalised photographs. Whether it's at your home, a scenic outdoor location, or a venue of your choice, I'm open to capturing your portraits in a place that holds meaning to you or you can let me pick a beautiful place for you.
How long does it take to receive the final edited photos?
I understand the excitement and anticipation of seeing your final photos! The editing process typically takes 1-2 weeks, depending on the volume of images and the complexity of editing required. I'll always prioritise quality and attention to detail to deliver exceptional images that exceed your expectations.
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
We love Auckland but it certainly loves to change its mind when it comes to the weather! If doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot, we can discuss alternatives such as rescheduling the session or finding a more sheltered location. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos, and I'm flexible in adapting to unforeseen circumstances.
