But what if I'm camera shy!
This is the most common concern, you aren't alone. It helps to think of me as a good friend just casually taking your picture as we go for a walk. I'm here to see you succeed! I am on your team.
I usually start us off with a walk and chat . As you feel more comfortable with the camera being around, you’ll find it easier to start exaggerating some of the walking and the pauses. For example, we are walking along slowly and i’ll suggest spinning, holding your dress out, or tilting your hat if you have one etc.
Depending on your comfort, outfits, the weather conditions/location and if you're feeling inspired we can do a bit of play in the shore line for fun. We will find a sweet spot to sit down in the dunes/grasses too.

● Think about bringing something to sit on in your photos if you want them to match your aesthetic.
● When I’m guiding you, try not to look at me (the photographer) unless I say “and look over at me”.
● If you are having a photoshoot with a partner, try to keep your bodies together when close.
● Wear clothes that are plain coloured, without patterns or logos or obvious branding or extra accessories.
